5 Bad Reasons To Start Your Own Adult Business

Starting An Adult Business is for the most part a very good idea for an individual who desires a stay at home part time job or work from home online business opportunity that can be worked on a few hours a week while one still has a full time job.  Of course because we are only human some people believe they can start their own adult business without doing their homework on the industry and are ill prepared for this new venture because they have quit their full time job to dedicate all of their time to this online adult business.  Of course, we all know one should never quit something for nothing but we are human and humans will make mistakes.

Now I receive at least 10 calls every week from individuals that want to quit their full time job and Start Their Own Adult Online Business making millions overnight working from home.  I ask them where they got the idea they would make millions overnight and the answer is someone they found online told them they could.  Not exactly what I care to hear.  Then I ask them why they want to quit their job and the answers most times are just as disturbing.  The following are my favorites:

I hate my job -  Usually there is some aspect of every job that we don’t care for or should I say hate.  This is normal but is no reason to leave your job and start your own business without giving it tremendous thought.

I won’t have to work much – This is just downright crazy.  Think of what you are saying.  Unless you partner with the right people you will certainly be working many more hours than you used to.  You have to build a business from the ground up and that is not so simple as some may think.

To get rich quick - There is no get rich quick promise that will ever work.  Get pass this dream.  Starting your own adult business is real business.  Good idea, great timing, hard work and a little luck all play a huge role in successful long-term business.  The person that believes they will be rich overnight for hardly doing anything will be out of business almost before they begin.  There is one thing I can guarantee you in business and that is that you will not get rich quick.  If this is your business mentality you will be out of business shortly.

Came in to money - So you came in to money and now you want to own your own business?  Okay! If you take your time and conjure up a good business idea than great.  If not, put the money in the bank or pay off debt if you have it first.  If you come into money terrific.  It may put you in a better financial situation to start that adult business you have always wanted to start but it should not be the sole reason for starting the business.

Can’t get fired – You might have a point here.  Well, there is no boss that can fire you but I think you have probably underestimated your customers who in many ways can fire you.  They can put you out of business if you don’t do your job.  You have more responsibility to the customer than you did to your boss.  Did you ever think about that?

At a time when we are in a horrendous global economy you should be very careful where you spend your money if you have any at all and quitting your full time job borders on insanity.  Starting An Adult Business can be a terrific investment in your future but it is not going to bring in tremendous wealth overnight and sure is hell not going to bring in a penny without hard work.  Many people have lost touch with reality when it comes to starting their own adult online business for they often believe they can duplicate  what some unproven business person on the Internet claims he or she did with no money down.   Somehow they are going to make money overnight for just purchasing a website and sitting back and letting it produce cash on its own.  How?  Whatever happened to earning your keep?  Don’t you have to work hard to get where you want to go in life?

Why do I continue to receive calls from individuals regarding their desire to start their own adult business asking at the beginning of the call “How Much Money Am I Going To Be Making In My First Month In Business?  Then the second is almost always “When Am I Going To Be Able To Quit My Job?”  This is an entitlement attitude many of us seem to have.  I don’t understand it and never will.  If you are going to start your own adult business please start it on a part time basis while you work your regular job.  Grow the business into a success and then decide if you desire to quit your day job.  Go into this new adult home based business endeavor with the correct attitude and you will succeed.  Start Your Adult Online Business as if you are somehow entitled to be a success and you will be an utter failure.  Take my word for it.  Be a success in your new adult business.  Nothing will make me happier than to hear your online home business success story.
