Chicago Web Design Company Begins Work On CDW Memorial Foundation Website

DjO Design Group, a Chicago web design company, today announced the start of creating a website for the Christopher D. Wheatley Memorial Foundation based in Lemont, IL. The CDW Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity created after Chicago Firefighter and Paramedic Christopher D. Wheatley, 31, died while fighting a restaurant fire on August 9, 2010.

Chris was an inspirational individual who lived a life devoted to serving his community, family and friends. A dedicated Chicago Firefighter, Chris also worked with STARTGroup in his spare time teaching proper emergency response techniques to municipal/plant employees. Chris was also an instructor at University of Illinois Chicago to medical students, teaching proper emergency techniques, and also volunteered his time to a variety of organizations.

“I never met Christopher but based on how his mother Mary described him and all that he did, I felt obligated to help in any way we could”, said Dariusz Owca, cofounder of DjO Design Group. He added, “We want to give his family the ability to continue where Chris left off and continue giving to the community.”

The website construction is underway and will contain information about the public charity, pictures of fundraising events, and the ability for the public to make tax-deductible donations to their scholarship fund. In 2011, the CDW Memorial Foundation distributed over $ 12,000 in scholarships and firefighter charities. In 2012, the Christopher D. Wheatley Memorial Foundation will have its second annual golf fundraiser at Cog Hill golf course in Lemont, IL., located just 30 miles southwest of Chicago.

“We’re excited about the CDW website because it’s a great cause and because some of our existing clients would make great sponsors for their golf outing”, said Dariusz. Flood Specialists, Inc., a Chicago Fire & Water Damage Restoration company is one of these companies who has recently agreed to be a sponsor in the 2012 CDW Memorial Foundation golf fundraiser. “We’re doing more than just building websites, we’re working ‘for’ our clients”, said Dariusz. He added, “When I told Flood Specialists about the golf fundraiser, they didn’t hesitate and wanted to be a part of it”.

The website will be located at http://cdwmemorialfoundation.org and http://chriswheatley.org and will focus on the CDW Memorial Foundation. DjO Design Group will also create a website at http://golf-fundraiser.com for golf fundraising events where all non-profit organizations can have a place to publish their golf events and photos.

Punjab Police Website Hacked- Should It Be Taken Strictly By IT Professionals

If you are an IT guy or a “NERD” in common man language, it is a big insult if some outsider encroaches your boundry, but our goverment and politicians has killed the honoured in us. On friday 11 July, 2010 the site of punjab police was hacked. Though not a big deal but guess who was the hacker. A dirty low life group of Indian Punjab. But IT persons here dont feel dis honoured at all. There might be two reasons for that, one goverments unsupportive attitude towards IT field. Infact people think that by this goverment has come to know that there is a skilfull field known as IT out there. Secondly WE CANT DO ANY THING. Yes in blocks why. Reason is that defense of this website was not in our hands. Another proof that goverment doesnt trust local professionals. Or the goverment officials wanted to make money that they granted the hosting to CystalTech in USA. Yes guys its true most of our sites are hosted by foriegn hosting firms, infact all goverment sites even intelligence. I love my country but still i would praise that fellow(hacker) who has eliminated this discrimination between foriegn and local web hosting firms infact local are better. Keeping in out log is easy but monitoring it is difficult. Locals do that the best and our sites are safe here i think. We will also create jobs by bringing our sites home and show responsibility as well. Take example of an average social forum sites availabilty has never been an issue. Dependability no chance. The point is a site administored and manged by an ordinary professional is safe then why the web hosting firms dont emphasize on security. It might be evident to you that hackers strike on large scale because big site hacked is a big story for press and media. But the truth is a site is a target for and inethical hacker no matter what the size or fame.

Conclusively I will end by saying that “EVEN A STOPPED CLOCK TELLS RIGHT TIME TWICE A DAY”. Trust locals stop running after others.
